Returns and refunds for orders placed in the European Union (EU)
If you are not completely happy with an item, we’ll give you a refund for the full price of the product, provided that you are based in the EU and the item is returned to us within 21 days from the time the order was placed. All items to be returned must be done so in perfect condition, in the original packaging and with all tags attached. We are unable to refund items which are not returned in this manner, are damaged or do not arrive back to us. Please also note that shipping and handling fees are not refunded and that no refunds are provided for items which are on sale.
When returning an item you can choose the carrier of your choice to make the return. However, please make sure you get proof of postage (and keep until the refund is completed), so that we can still complete the return if it gets delayed on its way back to us. Please allow 5 working days once we receive your product for Barefoot Contessa to process the return, plus allow for a further few days for banks to clear the funds on your account.

We are sorry but we currently do not offer returns and refunds for any orders placed outside the European Union.
Returns of defective items
If you feel an item we’ve sent you is defective please get in touch. We will require valid proof of purchase before proceeding with a refund of a defective item. We will ask you to email images of the product including detailed images of the damaged area at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will exchange the product for new one, if following our assessment, we consider that the defect is linked to production error and has not occurred from ill-usage. Due to the handmade nature of the bags, any small imperfections would not be considered as a defect.
We are sorry but we do not offer exchanges for purchases on our website at the moment, we offer only returns for orders placed in the EU. If you want another color or another style, you will therefore need to return your bag and place a new order.
Returning a gift
If you received a gift and wish to return it, you must do within 21 days from the time the order was placed provided that you are based in the EU. All items must be returned in perfect condition, in the original packaging and with all tags attached. We are unable to refund on items which are not returned in this manner, are damaged or do not arrive back to us. Shipping and other fees incurred for returning the gift will not be covered by Barefoot Contessa. Please note that currently we do not accept gift returns for orders placed outside the EU.
